​“Jack of all trades, master of none” is a person who has dabbled in many skills, rather than gaining expertise by focusing on one skill. In some ways I am a Jack of all trades because I have dabbled in a few genres (i.e., macro, abstract, black and white, landscape). Many of the skills I learned since I began this journey have been transferable from each of these photographic genres.
 
As we head into a new year (2022), I have a new website design and I have a focus on my passion, which is landscape photography. If I am lucky, some shots are serendipitous, and many others are because of previsualization. Regardless, passion requires a trigger, typically an inspiration to do something creative, while considering composition, light, perspective, shape, form, lines and/or colours. I understand the technical aspects of photography and my camera’s capabilities and limitations. But, it is clear to me that good photography is much more than good technique. It is all about being artistic and creative, finding the light, and telling a story.
 
I have focused on my favourite works in six categories: fine art, mountains, nature, rural, sea, and urban. I also have posted a page that includes my works that have won in local, national or international competitions.
